The opportunity
We are representing a large ands established organisation who are pushing the boundaries in terms of innovation and the development of propositions across a range of different insurance lines.
There is an ongoing pursuit to offer the most attractive products in market. As a result of this, the primary function of the role is Product Development. Focused primarily on Life Insurance.
The organisation has embedded a sophisticated approach to data and market analysis. The insights obtained are invaluable in defining the strategic direction and approach to designing products that are both appealing and market leading.
This is the most senior role in the team and will have an impact on the development and mentoring of the more junior members of staff.
Given the size of the business, there is scope to develop and progress (inside and outside of Product).
The Role
The day to day is a mix of:
- Product â designing and developing new products in line with the strategic direction; Ensuring existing products are up to standard.
- Projects â working with a range of different stakeholders on the design and development of propositions.
- Stakeholder management â engaging with a range of stakeholders internally and externally to ensure the products and propositions remain market leading.
- Mentoring â playing a leadership and development role with the more junior members of the team.
Your background/ experience
Prior experience working in Product in Life Insurance. Whilst Individual Life Insurance experience is preferred, we are also open to those with Group Insurance (Superannuation focus) experience.
Pricing/ Data Analytic's experience also appeals if there is an interest in moving into Product.
The ability to lead and drive outcomes matched with a desire to have ownership.
